HOW TO ENROLL IN (38 HR) OR (14 HR) CLASSES

*Please note there is a 3.5% fee when paying by credit card.
*Minimum non-refundable $200.00 deposit due at registration.
Methods of Payment:

Cash; Money Order; and Checks will be accepted. Any returned check will add a $35 fee to the initial cost of the class.

MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Card payments will charged an extra 3.5%.

38 Hour Class Requirements:

Students must be at least 14 years and 9 months old to take the classroom portion.
*Must have TIP card by first day of class.

Students will not be able to complete the Behind-the-Wheel portion until they reach the age of 15.
14 Hour Class Requirements:
01
Students must be at least 18 years old to take the classroom portion.
*MUST HAVE TIP CARD FROM DMV IN ORDER TO REGISTER FOR OUR ADULT CLASSES.

Students will not be able to complete the Behind-the-Wheel portion of the course until classroom is complete.
Parent/Guardian of students wanting to enroll in Mark's Driving Academy must visit the office and fill out necessary paperwork on/before the first day of class to ensure enrollment in the 38 hour or 14 hour class.
The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV)requires a Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP) effective 09/04/2018
All students enrolling in a driver education or pre-licensing course on or after 9/4/18 must present a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP) to the driving school when registering.
The parent/guardian and student must visit the DMV and obtain a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP).

*Note: If an adult has a valid Louisiana State ID already issued and their Social Security Number is in OMV's system, then only the ID and Proof of Residency is needed.
